PowerUs secures 24M in Series B financing round

PowerUs raised €24M for its career platform for electronics technicians and plant mechanics from Eurazeo, General Catalyst, Headline and HV Capital.

The Berlin-based start-up PowerUs has raised 24 million euros in a financing round to further develop its career platform for electronics technicians and plant mechanics. Investors such as Eurazeo, General Catalyst, Headline and HV Capital participated in the round.

PowerUs is a career platform aimed specifically at electronics technicians and plant mechanics. The fresh capital will be used to further develop the platform and expand the team in order to make the trade more attractive. There are currently more than 850 trade businesses and more than 80,000 electronics technicians and plant mechanics registered on the platform. They can network on the platform, which creates new career opportunities for tradespeople and helps companies to find qualified specialists. PowerUs was founded in Berlin in 2019 by Konrad Geiger and Julian Lindinger. The platform offers customized functions for the skilled trades and works together with companies such as Enpal, Service4Charger and DPS. Companies can network with skilled workers on PowerUs and publish individual job advertisements. Tradespeople who have completed their training can register on the platform free of charge and receive information on salaries, further training and career opportunities.
